MORE ON OUR COFFEE
We have chosen to keep it simple, a full espresso bar and a good drip coffee.
Our Espresso drinks range from 25 kr. to 38 kr. Always double shots at single price. It simply taste better that way, and we do appreciate the taste of coffee.
The bean we've chosen makes for a full, strong bodied coffee with tomato and herbal notes and a nice light acidity. This makes it a great partner for milky espresso drinks.
Erik Alvaraz is of Mexican desent and originally a danish trained chef from Søllerød kro before becoming a fulltime coffee roaster. Erik is doing all his roasting from his roasting shop, Espressos.dk, in Nordhavn Copenhagen. And has been doing so for 15 years. Erik has taken all his chef skills in to his roasting process.
Our espresso beans are from the The Sigri Estate located in Waghi Valley in Papua New Guinea.
The coffee cherries are hand picked and carefully checked to make sure they are fully red and ripe so they have the desired balance of sugar and acid. Any cherries with deformities are removed. The coffee beans are then washed, fermented and sun dried to further enhance their flavor.
